He wanted out of the Midwest. She wanted a university no one else from her graduating class had selected. Both wanted a great education and both loved musicals, English literature, and studying new religious movements & paranormal subcultures (all the things that make for super cool college students).

One thing led to another as these things tend to do... thanks to a dear friend trapping us on a balcony together at a house party. Then came graduation, that first move to Nebraska, the adoption of Ripley, another move, this time to Kansas City, and now a wedding.

There have been good times, hard times, and just so-so times - but that's life and no matter what, we can lean on each other through everything. We can't wait to celebrate this love with all of you.
